Goal

How do you configure the SMTP mail server with Workspace and Financial Reporting?

Solution

The SMTP Email Notification Server configuration for EPM 11 is as follows:

1. From the Start menu, go to All Programs: Oracle EPM System: Foundation Services: EPM System Configurator.
2. Select  "Common Settings" under "Foundation Services".  Click "Next".
3. Provide the credentials to connect to the SMTP Server and click "Next" to start the configuration.
4. Validate the configuration.
5. Start Apache Services, the Workspace Agent Service, and Workspace Web Applications.
6. Send a test email from Workspace.
