Goal

What Determines the Order that HFM and Planning Applications Appear in Workspace?

Solution

HFM versions released earlier to v9.3.1.x applications are sorted by name in alphabetical order. 

HFM versions from v9.3.1.x to v11.1.1.3 applications are sorted by the way its registered to Hyperion Shared Services (HSS). HFM applications can not be re-arranged in these versions.

In v11.1.2.x, applications are sorted by name in ascending order.

You cannot change the order in which applications appear in Workspace.
