Goal

Registering HFM Application into HSS

Solution

There are two methods:

First Method Solution

Using HFM Web Client as described below:

1.1. Launch Hyperion Financial Management Web Client.

1.2. Login with an account with Provision manager Role.

1.3. Select Navigate > Administer > Classic Application Administration > Consolidation Administration.

1.4. Click on Register and select the Cluster you want to be registered.

1.5. From the User Management Project drop-down list of the next windows, select the Shared Services       project to which to add the application.
Note:
Each application must belong to a User Management project. See the Hyperion Security Administration Guide.
1.6. In the Financial Management Web Server URL for Security Administration text box, enter the URL.
1.7. Click Register.

Second Method Solution:

Using the HFM Application Registration.exe found from HFM Application Server as described below:

2.1 Launch the utility found under <Hyperion>Financial Management\Server.

2.2  Under 'HFM Application Name', enter the Application name you want to register.

2.3 Under HFM Web URL, enter the URL of HFM Application Web.

2.4 Under Cluster Name, HSS Project Name, Username and Password enter respectively the name of cluster and project from HSS, UserID account and password.

Note: Do not fill the Domain field
