How to reconfigure or change the default Planning ports in EPM 11.1.1.x?

Solution

Changing Planning Ports: 

You cannot change the Planning RMI Server port in EPM System Configurator.

To change the Planning RMI Server port, perform the following procedure: 

1- In the HYPERION_HOME/common/RMI/9.5.0.0/HyperionRMI_Port.properties file,
change the registryPort value to the new port number.

2- In Planning, select Administration, then Manage Properties, and then select System Properties.

3- Add a new parameter, COMMON_RMI_PORT, and specify the same port value that you entered inHyperionRMI_Port.properties. This updates the HSPSYS_PROPERTIES database.

4- Restart the Hyperion RMI Registry service.

5- Restart the Hyperion Planning Service.
