Purpose

Current support for Microsoft (MS) Windows 2008 Operating System within the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) product releases.

The related Hyperion products include (but not limited to) Shared Services, EPM Workspace, Essbase, Financial Data Quality Management (FDQM), Financial Management (HFM), Performance Scorecard; Planning, Strategic Finance, Web Analysis (WA), SQR Production Reporting, Financial Reporting (FR), Query & Reporting (IR).

Scope and Application

This document is intended for use by Administrators or IT Professionals who are planning an installation or upgrade of an EPM environment.

Enterprise Performance Management Products Compatibility with Microsoft Windows 2008 Operating System

The EPM 11.1.2.x product releases introduced support for MS Windows 2008 (32-Bit and 64-Bit) Operating Systems.

• EPM 11.1.2.0
• MS Windows 2008
  (does not include R2 release)

• EPM 11.1.2.1
• MS Windows 2008
• MS Windows 2008 R2

Some exceptions may apply for individual EPM products.  Refer to the Oracle EPM Products - Supported Platforms Matrices web site for all supported configurations. 

Existing environments prior to 11.1.2.x, must be upgraded to one of these versions (or later where relevant) for MS Windows 2008 support.
