Hyperion EPM System 11.1.1.0.0 application notifications
SMTP Server
Goal
How to configure SMTP/mail server in System 11.1.1.0.0.Solution
Take the following steps to configure the SMTP/mail server:
Configuration Tool settings for mail server:
1. Start Hyperion EPM System Configurator,
2. Select Hyperion Foundation > Common Settings
3. Then click Next button.
A pane appears: EPM system common settings
4. Insert SMTP Mail Server (and additional inputs if SMTP server requires authentication username/password).
The mail-related values have been put into the Hyperion Registry for all applications to share in EPM System 11.1.1.0.0 (and have been taken out of V8_DOMAIN_PROPS and out of the graphic user interface of workspace: Tools > Administer > Notifications > Email Server where they were handled in previous versions)
