Goal

How to enable Sticky Server for FDM to HFM?

Solution

Inside of FDM, you will need to enable the Integration Option:
(Web) Administration -> Integration Settings -> Enable Sticky Server
(Workbench) Tools -> Integration Settings -> Enable Sticky Server
Within the HFM Win32 Client on each FDM Application Server, the HFM Cluster Name as well as each individual HFM Application Server within the cluster will need to be registered. To perform this process the following should be completed:
1) Open the HFM Win32 client on the FDM Application Server(s)
2) Login with a valid HFM Administrator account
3) Click 'Open Application'
4) Click the ... icon next to the "Cluster" field
5) Choose the 'One Server Only' radio button and enter the NetBios (Short Name) of the HFM Application Server and click 'register'.
6) Repeat Step 5 for each HFM Server in the Cluster.
7) Verify the ability to login to each individual HFM Server and open the Application that FDM will be integrating with.
