Purpose

The Purpose of this document is to outline the process to Setup Drill Through from Hyperion Financial Management version 11.1.1.3.0 to Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management version 11.1.1.3.0.

Scope and Application

This document is intended for use by Financial Data Quality Management Administrators with access to the FDM Workbench Client and the Financial Management POV Manager.

How to Setup Drill Through from Financial Management (HFM) to Financial Data Quality Management (FDM) Version 11.1.1.3

--- How to Setup Drill Through from Financial Management (HFM) to Financial Data Quality Management (FDM) Version 11.1.1.3 ---

Take the following steps to complete the setup necessary for drill through to function in version 11.1.1.3.0

1.Login to the Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management Application application using the workbench client

2. Expand the Target System Adapters > FM11x-G5-C > Right-Click on the adapter and choose "Options"


3. Select the "Enable Drillable Region Load" Integration Option from the drop down list and check the "On/Off" box and click "Save".


4. Select the "Enable SSO" Integration Option from the drop down list and check the "On/Off" box and click "Save and Close" to save the change and close the integration options window.

5. Open a data grid within the HFM Application that FDM is setup to load data to. Click on the Point of View bar to open the POV Manager

6. Place the cursor over a dimension and hover to display the dimension label. Repeat for all dimensions noting the labels (Custom1 may be labeled as Products for example)

7. Within the FDM Workbench Client expand the Dimensions folder of the FM11x-G5-C adapter to display the dimensions. Right-Click on the "Custom1" dimension and choose "Properties"

8. Update the "Foreign Name" field of the dimension to match the label shown in the POV Manager in the HFM application for the dimension. Click OK to save the change.

9. Repeat Step 8 for each dimension

10. Load Data to the HFM Application using FDM

11. The HFM Data Grid will display a green tick in the upper left corner to indicate it is a drillable intersection. Right-Click on the intersection and choose "Drill Through to FDM", the Intersection Summary Page will appear showing the source data in FDM.
