Goal

Within the Enterprise Performance Management suite (EPM) 11.1.2.1, what options are required to install SQR Production Reporting 11.1.2.1 as a standalone product?

Solution

To locate the required Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) installation files that need to be downloaded & extracted for individual EPM component: 

1. Login into Oracle eDelivery (http://edelivery.oracle.com)
2. Locate and drill into the Product\Media Pack and Operating System
3. Select "Continue" 
4. On the Media Pack page, click on the Readme button 

This will open a new browser page, listing the EPM products with corresponding components showing: 

X: Required downloads
D: Documentation recommended.  
C: Download Client software if applicable
O: Optional download 

Once required files have been extracted run the "installTool", that is included within the extracted files. 

Within the EPM System Installer 11.1.2.1, for SQR Production Reporting as standalone product, select: 

1. Select the "Choose Components Individually" option
2. Deselect the "Check All" option (no items should be checked)
3. Expand the following options:
   ~ Reporting and Analysis
   ~ SQR Production Reporting
4. Select the required SQR Production Reporting Engines from the available options.
5. In additional, select other options and client tools that are required.
6. Press next and verify install checklist, and then continue following prompts to complete installation.

NOTE: When the SQR Engine options are chosen, the WebLogic Application Server will be auto selected & installed by default.   This is reported in unpublished bug 9825623.

The installation process will unpack the "SQR Engine" executables to:

<INSTALL-DIR>\EPMSystem11R1\products\biplus\bin\SQR\Server\..
