Access an Hyperion Enterprise Application When the ADMIN Password Is Not Known or Forgotten

Goal

Access an application when the ADMIN password is not known or forgotten.

Solution

Currently, there is no 'back door' access into the Hyperion Enterprise application.

If a user's password is forgotten, then it can be changed by another user who has the appropriate security access to the SECURITY module.

If the password for the default ADMIN ID is lost or forgotten, this password can be reset by another user with the same level of security access as the ADMIN user.

If no other user has the necessary access to change the password of the ADMIN ID, the application will have to be rebuilt.
